Sweet Ellie is 10 months old and a ball of FUN. Getting into everything, flapping her arms when she is excited about something, bouncing up and down to "dance," playing peek-a-boo, still slurps, still slams her legs on her changing table and crib when she's excited about something, giggling all the time.
On October 5th she started saying "MaMaMaMa," and on October 10th, she started actively waving at people. This past weekend when our family of four was at the beach, she started using her "pincer grasp" on October 20th to pick up her Puffs, and she gets really excited about that (the Puffs, that is). The new foods she has tried is butternut squash, corn, and today she nibbled on a bit of plain pasta. Ellie still nurses every 3 hours, going to bed around 5:45/6 pm, and wakes up around 5 am. We love our bundle of joy!
Loving her toy from Aunt Rosemary. Jackson likes it too :)
Above pic was the day someone asked me if they were twins (!??)
Future redhead??
Celebrating both of my parents' birthdays
Celebrating Ashley and Les' beautiful wedding
Not sure what to think of the sand
Jackson, on the other hand, LOVED the sand, ocean, everything about our spontaneous last-minute trip to the beach. Quite a change from our May 2013 trip.
Um, Mom, there's SAND on my hands
Both kids wearing Babyators from Alabama Vision Center (amazing glasses and guaranteed for life)
I am so thankful for our quick, last minute, and dare I say, relaxing time at Seacrest Beach.
Jackson is still his funny, sweet, and spirited 2 1/2 year old self. He loves Ellie, and she loves him, and I pray their relationship always stays this way. Lately, we've heard these phrases from Jackson:
"NO"
"STOP"
"I a big boy, mama!"
singing the blessing (melt my heart)
singing songs to Ellie if she's crying
singing worship songs in the car
loves to read
loves to play with fire trucks, trains, police cars, anything boy related
gives me directions of where to go in the car ("tuun, wight dere"...turn right there)
copies everything Andy does (also melts my heart)
Loves the car wash
Same facial expressions
